It all started with a conversation between two Directors at a mid-size Pharma/Device company. We had an idea about starting a Contract Research Organization to provide biostatistics and statistical programming services for the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries, first in the California market, and expanding as business demands.

The Need

We had experienced the problems common when dealing with CROs that prioritize serving the needs of big Pharma. We knew there had to be a better way to support the under-served start-up, small, and midsize organizations.

Research: Used competitor sites to pattern ease of use and architecture. Interview stakeholders (product mgmt, board members, legal, medical, marketing and IT) and general users.

Insights: Competitors are spending significant dollars to convince the market that they were here first and consequently, offer the better product. A3 is an innovative new product, but is backed by over 20 years of proven product development and innovative discovery. Promoting Effectiveness, Value and Safety.

Conclusion: We used inbound marketing and SEO principals to be on the first screen of google search for CRO's. A3 must exploit its most recognized point of difference: Cloud based, predictive analytics and electronic submission. Success will come when prospective customers recognize A3 as the developer of the industry’s highest quality HRM products that delivers results, it’s what A3 does and what it does best.
